Devon is excited to be teaching guitar lessons at Groove City Kids Music! Music has always been a huge part of his life—he began private guitar lessons at age 9 and continued until he was 16. Devon has since had the opportunity to play rhythm guitar for four different churches, where he worked on the media teams: combining his love of music and technology.
Devon moved to Grove City in 2020 and loves spending time in the downtown area, especially visiting the library. You can often find him at Transcend or enjoying a round of putt-putt golf at Putt and Play—one of his favorite ways to relax!
He feels fortunate to share his life with his amazing wife, Drew, and they’ve been happily married for just over three years. Together, they have a lively 1.5-year-old son, Alistair, and are excitedly expecting another little boy in March!
When Devon is not teaching guitar, he works full-time as an Outbound Operations Lead at a medical distribution center and runs his own web design and marketing business called Nspire. Devon is also passionate about reading books on team building, leadership, and business development, which helps fuel his growth in both his personal and professional life. In his free time, Devon enjoys playing board games and video games with friends, as well as, building Legos and collecting Pokémon cards.
Devon is really looking forward to helping new students discover the joy of playing guitar and starting their musical journeys!
